A good dubbed or audio-described product always goes through audio QC

Major streaming platforms perform quality checks on the premix and post-mix versions of dubbed products and audio descriptions before making them available to end users. This is where I come in as a Dubbing QCer.

I listen to the Italian dubbing or audio description and assess its linguistic and technical accuracy. I make sure that the audio is in sync with the video and that the client’s guidelines for recurring and potentially offensive terms are adhered to by the dubbing studios. If necessary, I also help by pointing out any potential issues and suggesting useful solutions.
